How the West was Worn

Growing up in the west I have always been drawn to effortless and casual vibes when it comes to my wardrobe. I mean who can watch a western without giving some serious nods to the bad ass women and their awesome wardrobe choices. From statement sleeves, and high tailored trousers, to beautiful boots and belts, and we cannot mention the west without giving a moment of silence for the cowboy hat, it is a great time period to draw fashion inspiration from. Watching NYFW and PFW I was so excited to see so many western influenced vibes throughout so many collections. I especially loved when those western influences were incorporated into modern dresses creating fun silhouettes and beautiful statements. Here are a few of my favorite western inspired pieces!
